First we must make note that we are from Iowa not Idaho.  In Iowa we grow cows, pigs, corn and soybeans.  The only potatoes we have around here are cultivated in our backyard gardens.  Idaho grows potatoes – hail to the King of Potatoes!!!

Second we must apologize that we are new at this blogging thing and we have a few hang ups in trying to get this our first post up on Spudder’s site. A big Iowa thanks to Spudder for letting us guest post, and we hope you enjoy our work.

Now for our introduction—we are “Bank One Ballpark” (or B.O.B. for short) and Hilton.  We were born in a barn and have great Iowa farm cat genes.  We are brothers.  We were whisked off to the life of luxury as Iowa house cats.

Hilton and B.O.B. napping in their favorite chair

Our favorite past times include sleeping, boxing each other and checking out the sporting goods catalogs to see if they finally have come up with a gun for cats (not having opposable thumbs is a problem with using any of our owners firearms).  We like to stalk squirrels, bunnies and birds!!!  (well, we WOULD if we were allowed to go outside!)

B.O.B. selecting a new scope.

Another past time is scavenging or begging for human food.  Our favorites are popcorn, cheetos, licking the salt off saltine crackers, cleaning up cereal bowls of leftover milk and other rich foods we should not eat.  That’s alright . . . if we puke it back up there is always someone around to clean it up.

Mmmmmmmm milk!!!  Just enough for Hilton

Our current nemesis is Bandit the Dog.  He gets to come in at night.  He’s lucky to get to go outside regularly.  He thinks we want to play with him . . . WRONG!!!

No need to tell you who this is  . . .

Spudder has invited her two Redneck Intellectual Cousins from the Far North Iowa to be Guest Bloggers.

They will be checking in soon.

Be afraid, be very afraid.

Kick back and relax, that is.
